Development Coordinator

Life and Family Services of Noble County, Indiana is looking for a Development Coordinator.  Life and Family Services offers pregnancy and parenting education along with weekly workshops to clients.  Clients earn Bed and Britches, Etc. (BABE) vouchers which are redeemed in our BABE Store for items needed in the care of infants and small children.  Participants can also earn vouchers through 44 other educational and healthcare services in Noble County which help promote the health and well-being of young children.


Duties would include planning, implementing, and coordinating fundraising, marketing and community activities that will encourage, maintain, and increase philanthropic support to meet the short-and long-term needs of the pregnancy and parenting resource center.  Life and Family Services is a 501c3 faith-based ministry whose mission is to: Promote Life, strengthen families and offer hope through God’s love.

Under the general direction of the Director of the Health Department, the qualified candidate provides a full range of professional nursing services necessary to implement the department’s programs.

  • Immunization promotion – assisting with vaccine clinics, adheres to program rules/regulations regarding storage, ordering and use of vaccines
  • Nursing duties within the Health Department
  • Assists with writing/budgeting grants
  • Manages emergency preparedness grant deliverables and emergency plans
  • Participates in preparedness grant meetings, trainings, drills
  • Responds quickly to County emergencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Conducts home visits, deals with communicable diseases, TB testing and follow-up care
  • Professional interaction with public
  • Knows laws, accepted principles and practices of public health nursing
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, needs exceptional Excel skills
  • Must be available to travel to training/seminars/conferences, sometimes overnight
  • Other duties as assigned

Must be a licensed Registered Nurse approved for work in Indiana with a valid Driver’s License.  Require Healthcare Provider CPR and TB Testing Certifications.


Must be willing to subject to background check and motor vehicle report.

The Community Foundation of Noble County seeks to hire a dynamic, community and people-oriented servant leader to take the work of the foundation to the next level.  The successful candidate will have demonstrated success in the areas of project management, resource development, outstanding customer service and community building.


Purpose of the Position:

The Executive Director (ED) reports directly to and works in partnership with the Board of Directors (the “Board”) and operates under the general direction of the Board, within the policies established by the Articles of Incorporation, Bylaws, policies and guidelines as duly adopted, and consistent with applicable federal, state, and local law.  It is important to note that this job description is subject to change as deemed necessary by the Board for effective pursuit and achievement of the Community Foundation’s mission, vision and strategic plan.

The Executive Director provides professional leadership in partnership with the Board to accomplish CFNC’s mission and vision; supervises and oversees the day-to-day operations, growth and development of the Community Foundation; administers the implementation of Board policies and plans toward the accomplishment of CFCN goals; employs sound business practices; is prudent, ethical, honest and efficient in all actions and decisions made on behalf of the Community Foundation.  The ED also serves as an ex-officio, non-voting member of the Board and Executive Committee.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)

  • Ability to use computer-related software and technology to accomplish tasks
