HR Administrator

Nucor Fastener Indiana in St. Joe, Indiana, United States has a position available for an HR Administrator.

Basic Job Functions: (Duties will include, but  are not limited to:

  • Accurately processing weekly payroll and all related tasks

  • Maintaining employee records

  • Month end reporting

  • Quarterly and annual reconciliations of 941, 940, SUTA and W2’s

  • Assisting in basic HR functions such as recruiting

  • Providing support to the front desk

  • Event Planning

  • Open enrollment

  • Administration of the scholarship program

This position will demonstrate a high level of customer service and confidentiality while proactively communicating and completing follow-through with our teammates and customers.  Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Business, HR or related field

  • Microsoft Office experience

  • Cannot have relatives working for Nucor Fastener

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR, or related field

  • 2 years previous customer service/payroll experience

  • Experience with AS400 software and SAP/Success Factors payroll software

  • Payroll accounting experience
