The Community Learning Center is looking for a Pottery Studio Manager

 

Job Description and Qualifications:

 

Qualified Applicants will:
  • Be Community Minded while working well to provide programming with The Community Learning Center to meet the needs of the community and Pottery Members.
  • Is a proficient artist of ceramics and pottery.
  • Is self-motivated with strong creative problem solving, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Has extensive experience with Kilns/Pug Mill, Glaze Mixing and Chemistry formulation.
  • Is willing to teach as well as manage and oversee training studio assistants who assist in fulfilling Pottery duties.
  • This individual is collaborative in nature and works well with others.
  • He/She will understand Health benefits of keeping a clean studio.  This proactive individual will work to find creative ways to improve the facilities in terms of aesthetics, function and safety which is an integral part of this position.
  • The Studio Manager is expected to maintain an active creative studio practice in view of all who use or work in the studio.

This hybrid position will begin with 20 hours of work managing The Pottery with additional 5-10 hours a week, teaching classes for a total of 25-30 hours with programming.  The pay will be $25 per hour.  As programming continues to grow, the hours for managing and teaching will grow.

Program Director

Make an impact on Noble County as the next Program Director of the Community Foundation of Noble County.  This position is primarily responsible for all grantmaking, but will work closely with other departments within the Foundation.

The Board of Trustees will be looking for someone community-minded who can build strong, lasting relationships with CFNC’S partner organizations, agencies, and donors.  They need to be able to identify opportunities and determine how CFNC can be a positive catalyst to strengthen the community.

A Program Director will be organized, as the day-to-day work of grantmaking includes evaluating grant proposals, conducting applicant interviews and site visits, leading committee meetings, and making grant award announcements.

This position also acts as a PULSE (Philanthropists Utilizing Lifelong Service and Education) Navigator, supporting teens as they learn philanthropic skills and how to be a leader in their community.

As a leader within the Community Foundation, the Program Director develops an annual action plan and goals for the organization, represents CFNC at community events, and has a desire to grow and learn professionally.

To be successful, this position requires:

Qualifications include:

Precision Laser Services is looking for an experienced welder.  We are a contract manufacturer specializing in laser cutting, fabrication and CNC machining.  Located on the north side of Ft.Wayne, IN, we have over 45 years in the laser business.  New, long term contracts have us looking for additional team members.

Job Description: 

This position is responsible to setup and do MIG and TIG welding in a production environment.  Suitable candidates have two or more years experience and the ability to quickly setup and weld to print.  There will be an onsite weld test that must be completed and passed to be considered for the welder position.  AWS certification is a plus.
