About the Role:

Precision Laser Services is looking for an experienced welder.  We are a contract manufacturer specializing in laser cutting, fabrication and CNC machining.  Located on the north side of Ft.Wayne, IN, we have over 45 years in the laser business.  New, long term contracts have us looking for additional team members.

Job Description: 

This position is responsible to setup and do MIG and TIG welding in a production environment.  Suitable candidates have two or more years experience and the ability to quickly setup and weld to print.  There will be an onsite weld test that must be completed and passed to be considered for the welder position.  AWS certification is a plus.

Production Assemblers and Machine Operators are responsible for running and maintaining saw department equipment which includes saw, boring, drills conveyors, stackers, coders, and other related woodwork cutting equipment safely and efficiently in relation to material usage documentation, product waste, cutting and stacking.

Observe operation of robotic equipment and perform necessary adjustments to ensure product specifications are met.

Monitor robotic equipment to load raw material (wood) into Robotic machines in a timely manner to ensure no line stoppages.

Perform control checks and make equipment adjustments as needed.

Communicate any changes in product flow, equipment malfunctions, shortages or deviations from specifications to Production Supervisor verbally and/or in writing.
