Overtime may be required resulting in longer days or working an occasional weekend day(s). Overtime will be paid for working over 40 hours a week.

Employee Bonus:

After working at Aluminum Recovery Technologies (ART) for 3 months, the employee gets a $300 bonus, they also receive another $500 bonus after working 6 months, and another $1000 after 1 year at ART!!!

Refer a Friend:

The employee can earn an additional $300 if they refer a friend and that friend stays employed for 6 months.  If the employee’s referral stays employed for a year, the employee gets another $300 bonus.

Administrative Assistant/Receptionist

Full time position at Noble House Ministries, Albion, IN

Hourly wage:  $15.00/hour

Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position works as part of a team and independently to provide supervision to the residents and ensure the health and safety of everyone in the shelter.  Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Observe and regulate activities at the facility, ensuring rules and procedures are followed.
  • Assign consequences and warnings, as needed
  • Develop good, professional working relationships with residents, helping to resolve conflicts
  • Refer safety needs or concerns to Case manager
  • Attend required staff meetings and trainings
  • Work in conjunction with the Case Manager and House Manager to meet the needs of the clients.
  • Assist Case Manager with case management, when needed
  • Answer telephone and direct messages to appropriate person
  • Drug screen residents
  • Search residents’ belongings, when necessary
  • Be willing to transport residents, when necessary
  • Schedule Facebook posts to help promote Noble House Ministries’ work
  • Statistics, data entry, and donation tracking
  • Filing
  • Assist with writing “thank you” cards
  • Assist House Manager and Case Manager with resident ‘Exits’ and ‘Intakes’, as needed
  • Any other duties assigned by the Executive Director
  • On-Call hours required

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required for position

MINIMUM SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to work with diverse population
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to lift between ten to thirty pounds frequently
  • Be able to perform light duty chores
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead
  • Ability to operate telephone
  • Ability to operate a desktop or laptop computer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to understand written information
