Job Summary:  The HVAC/R Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs and/or upgrades of all heating, ventilation and refrigeration systems and equipment for the plant.  All functions are to be performed within the guidelines of the Facilities Department policies and procedures.  Internal Control standards and objectives.  This role will be responsible for HVAC duties of advanced to considerable difficulty in the performance of facility equipment maintenance.  This is a skilled position that requires proficiency to diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical and electrical components of these systems.  The Maintenance technician is also an active member of the Preventative Maintenance Team.

Field Project Supervisor

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area/site. Must be willing to participate in offered training to increase knowledge, skills, and safety awareness.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints.

  • Must participate in the company drug and alcohol screening program including pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, and random testing.
  • Must have strong math skills and a complete understanding of trigonometry functions as they relate to the trade.
  • Able to accept and follow both verbal and written instruction.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively up and down the chain of command.
  • The Field Project Supervisor shall provide all hand tools to perform job duties.
  • THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION
  • Possess AWS SMAW D1.1 3G, 4G weld certification and have strong GMAW (mig) welding knowledge and skills.
  • Possess a valid NCCCO Rigger and Signal Person certificate.
  • Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license along with the For Hire endorsement and a DOT physical required to operate company vehicles.
  • Basic computer skills a plus
  • Ability to wear a respirator and to work in confined spaces as required by following all applicable safety policies and regulations.
  • Have the ability and training to operate forklifts, man lifts, and telehandlers.
  • Documented training in people management/supervisory skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret blueprints.
  • Meet the physical demands of the position, which include pushing, pulling or lifting 50-60lbs consistently, performing repetitive motion, and the ability to complete a physical ability test as part of the pre-employment screening process.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
  • Possess a current OSHA 10 0r 30-hour card.
  • Able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:  The Production Associate will be assigned to various production lines within our automotive glass plant to support manufacturing.
