We awarded $1,023,000 in grants and scholarships last year in the areas of education, arts & culture, recreation, community development, environment and health and human services.

Operations Manager

We are seeking a full-time Operations Manager to join our team.  This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the Community Foundation.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail and passion for community service and development.  The position is responsible for managing key administrative functions, supporting staff and facilitating communication within the organization.

Core duties include:

  • Overseeing daily office operations
  • Facilitating communication between staff, board and committee members, organizing meetings, agenda and minutes
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable; recording donations
  • Overseeing the input, organization, and maintenance of data within the Foundation’s database and giving portal, ensuring information is accurate
  • Maintaining a comprehensive record of all policies and compliance documents
  • Supporting the planning and execution of Foundation events
  • Assisting with marketing efforts by compiling reports, managing content and posting updates on social media

Law Firm Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant

Job Description

We are hiring! We are looking for a Law Firm Front Desk Receptionist/Legal Assistant in LaGrange.  This individual is responsible for maintaining the front desk responsibilities in an organized and efficient manner, while providing exceptional customer service.

The hours for this position:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

Greet all clients in a timely and friendly manner while checking them in promptly and accurately.

Serve as primary contact for general firm email matters.

Receipt payments.

Maintain files, filing, closing files.

Facilitate a courteous, friendly, and productive environment for clients, staff and visitors.

Able to help in document preparation such as wills, trusts, estates, real estate, and contracts.

Qualifications:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)

Computer Skills: 1 year (Preferred)

Exceptional customer service skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, operating with a high level of professionalism.

Applicants should be proficient in Word, Excel, Office Suite, and Outlook email.

Proficient computer skills including Windows-based technologies.

Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
