BW Structural Services is hiring a full-time Welder/Fabricator for their location in Hoagland, Indiana.  Pay is $18-$30 per hour.

Position Overview: 

We are seeking both experienced and entry-level Welders/Fabricators ready to tackle challenges head-on.  In this hands-on role, you’ll work with engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute precise welding operations.  If you have a relentless drive to improve and a dislike for losing, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow your skills in a supportive environment while contributing to  meaningful projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret Drawings:  Read and analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication requirements.
  • Plan and Execute:  Develop a strategic approach to layout and welding operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Alignment and Fitting:  Align, fit, and utilize jigs to maintain high-quality standards in fabrication.
  • Operate Equipment:  Safely operate welding tools and cutting equipment, adhering to best practices.
  • Safety First:  Commit to a culture of safety, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Team Collaboration:  Work closely with team members to meet production goals and timelines

Qualifications: 

  • Strong work ethic with a dedication to excellence and quality.

  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to operate welding, cutting, and laser equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
  • Certifications in welding are a plus
